Here are the highlights from the July 28 meeting of the CSU board of directors.
The CSU has been in the process of a “strategic plan refresh” in which the primary goal is to update new priorities and remove the old ones.
Concerns were raised in terms of the student-at-large application process. The suggestion is to keep the committee members down to three instead of five to reduce intimidation.
The board approved $3,365 towards the consent campaign. The CSU is working with Capilano University to raise awareness and engrain consent into the culture of Capilano.
