Here are the highlights from the March 10 meeting of the CSU board of directors. The board endorsed Capilano University’s First Nations Students Services “Aboriginal Student Success Strategy”, and three members of the student body were elected to sit on the appeals committee.
Plans for the CSU Spring Appreciation event were approved, a night for staff and board members to honour the individuals who volunteer for the organization. Arrangements for De-Stress Week were made, though dates have yet to be confirmed.
Noah Berson, a CSU external relations committee student-at-large, was elected as the Alliance of BC Students voting alternate. Three students were elected to sit on the student life committee as students-at-large. One member of the board was retroactively approved as a CSU delegate to attend the Northwest Student Leadership Conference.
