Get ready to chill with us at Captivate, a welcome party provided by the Capilano Students’ Union. This event is exclusively for CapU students so please bring your Cap Card for entry.

CapU student choice playlist

Our playlist at the event is built using song requests submitted in advance by CapU student ticketholders, so please make sure to enter your request when registering for your ticket! Live song requests will not be accepted—thanks for understanding.

Open Mic

For the first time, we are welcoming our students to open the night for us with an open mic. Sign-ups are required ahead of time, and spots are first come, first serve.

• Please drink responsibly—no outside liquor allowed.
• Report safety issues to event staff or security.
• Unruly or disrespectful behaviour may result in removal.

19+ bar access

Two pieces of ID are required to enter the 19+ bar area, no exceptions:

• At least one government-issued ID with a name, picture, and birth date
• Any second piece of ID including a name and either a picture or signature
• We cannot accept photos or virtual copies of ID, you must have it physically with you
